A special note about grades:
Many of you have had questions about specific assignments. It's great that you are concerned about your grades and you want to do well! Please remember these tidbits when you are checking your grades in my classes:
1) I try really hard to get my grades all updated every Monday. If you turn in new things on Monday, don't expect that they will be in the computer until the next Monday. I might get them in before then, but please allow a week for the grades to update.
2) Keeping that in mind, when I allow students to turn work in late for partial credit, I am giving them a chance to make up the work. Please be as understanding with me when I am working hard to grade your late work!! It may take a little longer than if you had turned it in when it was due.
3) If your name isn't on it, I probably won't be able to figure out whose paper it is.
